Case Study – Aluminum Plant

Enviroair worked on a project with an aluminum manufacturing company based in Sept. Iles, Quebec. The plant that underwent a major expansion in 2005, required packaged independent cooling systems to cool the centrifugal air compressors that were essential its operation.

The detailed engineered system specified, by the joint venture project managers, required strict adherence not only to the project quality control protocol ,but also to system management, control specifications and documentation requirements.

Through the co-operative effort of Enviroair and our packaged system supplier Epsilon Industries, the project was successfully completed in 2005.

Enviroair supplied:

  • Four (4) 12 fan horizontal air cooled fluid coolers,
  • One (1) twin duplex pumping package, including pumps, expansion tanks, bypass and bypass controls; fully piped, wired, valved and instrumented to the project specific actions
